Is Watchmeld free?
Yes. The whole app is free. No paid tier, no ads. Some power features unlock as you invite friends, but the core picking flow is fully free for any group size.
Does Watchmeld stream movies?
No. Watchmeld is a discovery layer. Once the group picks a movie, we link straight to where it's streaming on the services your members already have - Netflix, HBO Max, Hulu, Disney+, Yes, Cellcom TV, Sting+, etc.
How does the Sommelier handle very different tastes?
Three modes. Fairness optimizes for the least-disappointed person (good for big or mixed groups). Fast consensus optimizes for the average. Discovery deliberately tries something novel that still matches the group's taste shape.
Is it safe for movie night with the kids?
Yes. When any member has the kid role, a cert ceiling applies (default PG for under-10, PG-13 for 10-12). The admin can also toggle "kids present tonight?" off when the kids are away.
What about Hebrew-language films and Israeli audiences?
Watchmeld supports Hebrew end to end - RTL, native Hebrew copy, IL streaming providers, and a curated Israeli swipe set including Foxtrot, Beaufort, Late Marriage, Waltz with Bashir, Schindler's List, plus Hebrew-dub family hits.
