1. Who we are
Watchmeld ("we", "us") is operated by Gil Shiff and is accessible at watchmeld.com. We help groups discover movies to watch together.
2. Using the service
You may use Watchmeld for personal, non-commercial use. You must be at least 13 years old (under-13 users may only use the service via a parent or guardian account). Don't abuse the service: no automated scraping, no attempts to bypass rate limits or security, no uploading malicious content.
3. Your account
We use Google OAuth for sign-in. You're responsible for keeping your Google account secure. You can delete your Watchmeld account at any time from your profile, which removes your data per our privacy policy.
4. Movie data and streaming
Watchmeld doesn't stream movies. We surface where titles are available on third-party services (Netflix, Yes, Cellcom TV, etc.) using TMDB's watch-providers data. Availability changes over time; we display the best information we have but make no warranty of accuracy. Clicking a streaming link redirects you to that service, where their terms apply.
Movie metadata is provided by TMDB. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
5. AI recommendations
Recommendations are produced by an AI agent (the "Sommelier") based on your group's taste signals. The agent is fallible; picks may not always match your preferences. We make no guarantees about the quality of any specific recommendation.
6. Content you provide
Group names, mood text, post-watch notes, and similar content you submit must not violate any laws, infringe on others' rights, or contain hateful or sexually explicit material. We may remove content that violates these rules.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time.
8. No warranty
Watchmeld is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages from using the service.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via the app or by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
